Utilising our Robust, Stainless Steel Quick Release Connectors, multimode fibres are protected inside a wire braided, kink resistant conduit. The bend radius of this is larger than that of the fibre thus protecting it from damage. The fibres are also up to 5% longer than the conduit, which protects them from stretching. The Connectors are sealed to IP66/67 and deluge approved to DTS.01.1991 when connected. (Estimated IP54 unconnected). The complete harness is optically tested at Rota, ST or SC connectors can be fitted on to the flying leads to provide fit and forget, plug and play interconnections.
